Who are we?

Evoke is an ambitious and growing PR agency specialized in PR and content marketing. We combine the power of the written word and the wonderful tools of PR to bring our clients' stories to the attention of the right media and journalist (s) clearly and attractively.

We work for both large international companies and national companies, while our agency itself has a relaxed atmosphere of a dynamic scale-up. Everyone gets the opportunity to further develop their own talents and explore interests. Through growth interviews and training courses, we map out a growth path for everyone. We are a young team and attach great importance to a pleasant group dynamic where we can all be ourselves. Our agency is located in ICAB, an incubator for promising growth companies in bustling Etterbeek. The office is within walking distance of the VUB and bus, train and metro connections, but working from home a week is perfectly possible.

What do we stand for?

Transparent & honest: If a PR idea doesn't work, we'll say that. If it should have worked but it didn't, we'll sincerely tell the customer why not. It's this openness that has enabled us to build so many long-term relationships with our customers. Of course, we also attach great importance to this value internally. We are transparent in our figures, honest with colleagues and expect the same from them.

Dedicated: We're committed. To the customer, but also to our profession, to the assignment and the promise to achieve results. We'll keep digging to deliver the added value we had in mind. And if necessary, we look at other PR paths that lead to the exposure we had set ourselves for.

Accessible: We don't hide behind quotes, fine print, or ifs and buts. We are accessible and are always looking for a personal and human connection. This not only allows us to act quickly when opportunities arise, it also helps build trust in our customer relationships.

What do you do?

• Digging. To interesting topics, creative ideas, out-of-the-box perspectives, current news brackets... In short, exciting stories from our customers that need to be read.
• Writing. From press releases and customer stories to blogs and opinion pieces. You throw in your tasty language talent, but always with the necessary attention for the most appropriate tone of voice and without forgetting the basic ingredients or key messages. The result is delicious writing that the press is only too happy to receive.
• Pitching. You know how to convince journalists time and time again and they know what they have in store for you: a source of relevant and bite-sized content and testimonials that contribute to tomorrow's news.
• Build and maintain. Successful PR is a long-term process. That's why you know how to build a relationship with your customers and the press. You are accessible and reliable and keep your promises.
• Reporting. Your hard work can be seen. That's why you put your achievements into comprehensive activity reports and unpack them during weekly or monthly calls with customers and other European PR agencies.

Who are you?

• You have a master's or bachelor's degree in communication or journalism. You already have two to three years of experience in a PR agency or communication position or are really excited to learn more.
• You are curious and bitten by news. You can ruminate complex matter into clear content with your fingers in your nose. Are you interested in technology and mobility? That's a nice bonus.
• You have a love for (written) language. You enjoy writing in Dutch and English, smoothly and flawlessly. You have a basic knowledge of French.
• You are a team player but at least for a while independent and assertive. You tell it like it is without kicking the shins unnecessarily. In addition, you work in a structured way and deadlines are sacred to you.
