Four platforms that feature European tech startups

As an ambitious startup, press coverage is indispensable to show your recent entry to the market. In general, but especially for startups, European attention can be a great asset to boost your growth. But on which platforms do you want to be featured?

Which websites or magazines should be your go-to in reaching those interested in the latest news on European tech? In this article, we discuss four platforms which feature European news on tech and startups. The first two are well-established platforms, while the third and fourth platform are up-and-coming. An appearance on one of these platforms can be very valuable in your growth process.

1. EU-Startups

With 44,000 subscribers to their newsletter, EU-Startups is the leading online magazine about startups in Europe. They publish articles about (re)launches, funding or acquisitions of tech startups and other tech-related news. Additionally, they regularly put out interesting interviews with European startup founders. Each month, they are able to reach an audience of more than 200,000 startup-interested and tech savvy people across Europe.

2. Tech.eu

Founded in 2013, Tech.eu reports on European technology news, data analysis and market intelligence. They offer a wide range of stories on startups, scale-ups, venture capital and more. What makes Tech.eu an especially compelling platform is the diversity in their means of publication. They not only manage an online magazine but also distribute a weekly newsletter, a weekly podcast and an event calendar.

3. Sifted

Even though Sifted is not around for as long as EU-Startups and Tech.eu, they have managed to quickly build a considerable audience. That is partly due to the backing by the Financial Times, but also because they provide quality in-depth content with regards to European startups and tech. They’re quick as well! A newsletter is sent out no less than three times per week. They aim to be a trusted and independent resource for European startup and tech news, as well as a channel for discovery.

4. Silicon Canals

Based in the Netherlands, Silicon Canals provides news, knowledge and insights from the European technology & startup ecosystem. They have taken a specific interest in the Benelux market. Their goal is to provide interested parties invaluable and indispensable information about topics such as mobility, AI and FinTech.
